Nampa & Meridian Irrigation District (NMID) will begin filling its canals and pressurized irrigation systems on
April 2nd
. It takes approximately 2 weeks to fill and test the entire irrigation system. The expected date to have the
canal and pressurized systems both ready for full delivery is April 15th
. District water managers are very hopeful
that the water carried over into the reservoirs along with the wet spring and still growing snowpack will provide
ample water supplies for our patrons in 2025.
