Dewey Lateral Annual Meeting Notes—March 25, 2017
Meeting Called to order at 9:10 am by Andrew
Discussion:
1) Fees—Andrew reviewed the new fees which were voted on last year.
The fees increased from $25/ acre to $30/acre.
-Fees changes are on web site
-Tally kept on what fees were used for last year
-NO-HELP fees increased from $20 to $40—we want people to help in cleanup
instead of just opting out by paying $20. The fee was increased to make it more
encouraging to help instead of having to pay $40 fee.
-Goal is to pipe most of lateral
Late Fees
-Fees due by May 1st—Would rather have them at this meeting so moneys can be
used this year
-Late fee after June 15th—A 10% penalty will be assessed—If fees are not paid,
association can shut off water from user
2) Clean-up Dates
-Clean-up dates are the first and second Saturdays in April—This year they are
April 1st and 8th
-Meet at 9 am at Eddie’s house
3) Election of Members of the Association Board
-Officers nominated and unanimously voted in with 8 “for” votes and 0 “no”
votes as follows:
Board Pres.—Andrew
Board VP—Joe
Board Sect.—Eddie
Water Master—Jim
4) Review of repairs last year
-pipe purchased last year was used on Robinson Ln. and Robinson Rd.
-Created new ditch to solve clogging problem at Free’s residence. Used tractor to
dig ditch
-Will need to open Free’s ditch to get it back to normal route eventually
-Installed 4 sticks of pipe--3 on Robinson Ln. and and 1 on Robinson Rd
-Used tractor to clean out main ditches feeding end of Victory line
5) Repairs for this year
-Continue piping Robinson Ln
-Fix riser at 44 Robinson Rd
Fix sheepherders runoff to prevent residue from plugging up riser at 44 N
Robinson
-Fix Gary Lueck tree and ditch
-install check at Butt/Frances split (southeast corner of Ashton Property)
Install check for Andrew
